How to Build a Hydrogen Engine – HHO Gas Conversion Made Easy

With gas prices steadily rising over the past couple of years, many people are starting to wonder how to build a hydrogen engine, and if it’s possible to do for the average person. You might be surprised to find that it’s actually a lot easier than it may sound.

The truth is, you don’t have to actually build a hydrogen engine. You can easily use a hydrogen conversion kit that uses hydrogen gas extracted from plain tap water on demand. The hydrogen gas derived from water is known as HHO gas and is simply a mixture of hydrogen and oxygen separated molecularly and reformed into a gas mixture.

This separation is accomplished by simply applying a current of electricity to the water, as process known as electrolysis. As the current travels through the water, it causes the water molecules to split and hydrogen and oxygen congregate at the positive and negative ends of the current. Then, the gases bubble to the top and form the gas mixture we know as HHO.

This powerful HHO gas is then directed to the engine to combine with gasoline and incoming air for combustion. By supplementing gasoline with HHO, you can expect an immediate improve to fuel economy by up to 40%, and cleaner emissions from the exhaust.

The parts needed to build a simple HHO generator are very inexpensive and can be found at your local hardware store. While each plan or design is a little different, most plans consist of the same core components which generally includes a water reservoir, electrical wiring, a small length of tubing, and anything needed to secure the system in the engine bay.

Never Built Anything Like This Before?
Hey that’s alright! Most people running these had never built one before either. If you’re still a little fuzzy on how this works or how to build it, I highly suggest following one of the many guides that show you step-by-step, start-to-finish exactly how to build and install your own hydrogen gas saver. For your convenience, I’ve reviewed the Top 3 Guides available so you can decide which best fits your individual needs and budget.
